I recall, with great fondness, the "Bull Pie" served up at the Bull Inn, just outside Skipton. Steak, Ale and Mushroom pie.

I got home from work and the missus had made steak & kidney pie for dinner.  If she wasn't already my wife, I'd marry her.

Mushy peas, yes. Red cabbage NO!!!!!!! You should have: Meat & Potato pie (short crust pastry), mushy peas, extra gravy (if required) and Hendersons Relish. That's final!
