Given they were in a garden centre, I assume they were vegetable pies?

I recall, with great fondness, the "Bull Pie" served up at the Bull Inn, just outside Skipton.

Steak, Ale and Mushroom pie.

Or the Desperate Dan Pie at Mad O'Rorkes Pie Factory in Tipton - came with horns sticking out of the pie crust

I got home from work and the missus had made steak & kidney pie for dinner. :D

If she wasn't already my wife, I'd marry her.

Mushy peas, yes. Red cabbage NO!!!!!!!

You should have: Meat & Potato pie (short crust pastry), mushy peas, extra gravy (if required) and Hendersons Relish.
That's final!
