This sort of thing is completely illegal in the European Union, as was mentioned in the article - it misleads consumers. He should have identified himself, not tried to pass himself off as a consumer. |

If he said "I'm a game dev and I think I've made some 10 out of 10 [LIFTED] right here" then I wouldnt care. That's no worse than those who spam with 0 ratings to drag scores down. But doing it posing as joe public is wrong. |

As a game developer he could have made comments but been ineligible to vote. Declaring that he was a developer would have shown that he had a vested interest. If he just said that I particularly like the such and such scene that could be verified by other users without a problem. |
