Quote:
The internationally acclaimed Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has been missing for more than 24 hours after being detained at Beijing airport.

The artist was stopped while passing through security checks for a flight to Hong Kong.

No one has seen or heard from him since. The authorities have not commented.

It's not the first time their actions have been questionable.

But I'd be surprised if they dared to make him disappear given his massive following.

And for those who don't know who he is, he's a legend.

It's kind of funny in a way.
The government of the biggest country in the world, massively rich with nukes at their fingertips, and they seem to a paranoid about one little man whi likes painting.

Talk about "power to the people".

One minute they are calling him a dissident, the next they letting him design their Olympic stadium. Does this make sense to anyone?

Since when has a prisoner sewn a high status mail bag? I am sure he was rewarded handsomely for his stadium work.
