It's a mental idea at every level but even at the practical level it won't work. Presumably they will need some legal proof of delivery i.e. a signature of receipt and (for example) I'm never at home when the postman delivers, so how is that going to work? Will I be legally required to go to the post depot to collect it? And what will they do if I don't? Charge me with something?

Which they send me by letter, no doubt. You can just imagine post office depots around the country with huge piles of letters from HMC that haven't been accepted.... Jon

Next it will be by text or email. Sorry I never got that court summons it was deleted as part of my junk mail.  Hold on this is the same party that introduced targets more than 13 years ago and now they see the error of their ways?
