on FF i use cookieculler which deletes the cookies that i don't protect every session
with safari i use safaricookies which does a similar job to cookieculler

note
on FF i also use better privacy which deletes flash cookies
safaricookies does this without any extra add on's ...

I use the "always ask me" setting.
It's only annoying for the first few days after a fresh install. After that it knows what to do with cookies from most of the sites I visit anyway.

Third party cookies should be banned. The only sites that seem to have them are hotmail. :oops:
