WTF.

Every Govt that has come along has f*cked with the NHS in some way. Now it's weaker than a statue supported on cocktail sticks and it's ready to collapse.

with change there is chaos
the way to enact/evolve change is to keep the 'chaos' part

that is the only reason for continued change to and within the NHS

that way you will except what is available ...

Wait...

Did you mean except or accept (or even expect)?

Had to ask as it completely changes the meaning of the statement.

Tories always want to try and implement US style healthcare and yet compare ourselves to being behind Europe. Why not think for a frakkin second and look at what the Europeans are doing.

i meant exactly what was stated
except = If it were not for the fact that ...

but i have no doubt that accept will be the requirement in regard to policy ...

There are some well run systems in Europe. France regularly does well, even though it is more expensive.

That's the key. Higher taxes and more smokers mean that it's well funded. It's no doubt got a few people there who could teach us a thing or two, perhaps it may be good to ask them.

Labour had the right idea regarding funding but followed the stupid ideas of league tables and loads of administrators. They could have done better to concentrate on efficiency.

You also have to pay a bit in France, it's not completely free.

No but you get reimbursed by the state. You need to keep cash which would explain why the financial crisis did not affect France as much because people had savings not debt. For that reason it could not work here. Most people have practically no money to pay even for a short period.
