I feel sorry for the engineers who have to design the façade! No planar glass = fun!

No room for a warp core in that Apple.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

There’s all that sub-terranean parking space. They can fit a particle accelerator. Once the ship is fuelled up and ready to go, they can fly to the Moon. Or Mars. So I’m the only one here seeing a link between the anti-matter containment record and this?

He's fooling you all. It's just a giant click wheel that he can use to control the world!

No he has that already. I suspect that he is like the David Bowie character in "The Man Who Fell To Earth", he is creating all this technology so that he can build his own star ship for return to his own planet where everyone wears black turtlenecks.

What'd be awesome is if when it rains, a large rainbow coloured umbrella unfurled and slowly rotated in the centre of the ring. A bit like this:

Reminds me more of the 'doughnut' in Cheltenham than the Pentagon.

ROFL! Just watched the video and some of those councillors are complete idiots. Q: How is the community going to benefit? A: Well, there will be a higher employment rate, more plant life, we will be powering ourself so less electricity consumption on the city, more attractive/greener (environmentally) landscaping, the largest tax paying company in the city will be staying around a lot longer because of this, we'll pay to knock down all these empty decrepit office buildings that are no longer used and put up parks in their place, we'll reduce surface parking thus removing thousands of cars from eyesight, etc... Q: No, I meant do we get free wifi? WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! And what was with the chiese guy and the cement factory question?! Completely irrelevant.

His answer was spot on though - we pay taxes, you should be spending it on that if you want it. I wonder if JObs will be around to see it open. 2015 - can he hang on that long?
