If you have ever had a single portion pot of jam in, say, a branch of Costa, the chances are very high that it’s come from Tiptree. There’s a jam factory there, and if you travel through the village, you can small it.

Anyway, due to a planning issue, the factory may be forced to move away. Boo!

Yeah, their marmalade is loverly.
But expensive.

But worth it.

I have toast infrequently and rotate my toppings, so the cost doesn't matter too much. A jar will last me at least a year!

Not just their marmalade. I do like their jams. Though I have a local farm that makes great jams and marmalades http://www.paynesbeefarm.co.uk/marmalades/ Marmalade and honey being my personal favourite. My mum used to live in the area when they arrived from Burma and local schools closed for harvests. She used to pick fruit for them when at school.
