If you're the sort of person who downloads TV shows I doubt you were ever gonna go and buy the box set anyway, and who wants to wait months for something that's already been on TV that you may have missed?

Overall I'd argue they need a better sales model, cos they can't stop the uploading and so would be better off making some money...

He should stop blaming his poor viewing / sales figures on pirates but on his increasingly crap shows. The second season of Ashes to Ashes has been an absolute joke and Spooks is well past its sell-by-date.

Apart from Top Gear, quality TV died in the UK a long time ago. If you find something good on the terrestrial channels, it is probably a repeat.
