I have to confess to using the ITV player on the iPad. It is very good not enough programs to choose from. There was no coverage of the Tour de France, which seemed strange.

It's pants on the PS3, tell you that... Mind you, how often does ITV produce something worth watching?

Does it let you store files or do you have to stream? That's the big weakness of the mobile version of BBC's iPlayer.

I use it for Doc Martin which is doing the repeats on ITV3 and Jeeves and Wooster. It has a lot of programs like Coronation street, Loose Women etc but since they do not appeal to me it is not used. No ads apart from the opening promo trailer. Certainly not on the programs that I have watched. I was tempted to watch an episode of On the Buses. It has not aged well. Typical 70's comedy.

It just streams but you can pause and come back to it seemingly without problems.

That's no good if you're out and about on 3G. You'd want to download in over wifi then watch it later while you're on the move.

True but since mine is always connected to my wifi network it does not make any difference to me.
