Jonathon Downes is a living legend. I have attended several of his lectures at the Fortean times Unconvention over the years. Completely insane but in the field of cryptozoology he's you man. |

For months, a friend and I have been plotting to attend the Weird Weekend. I'd be there right now, if someone hadn't chosen tonight as their night for their 'leaving work dinner' and I'm somehow expected to attend. So for the sake of keeping the peace, I bumped the WW for a Mexican meal with a bunch of people I don't really know. I'm not sure how this happened, to be honest, I was really looking forward to the WW! ![]() |

I do fiind it incredible that such a large animal can evade detection for so long. Though It does explain some of the past sightings. |

It seems crazy, but I know so many people who have claimed to see them and are utterly convinced, that I find it hard to doubt. |

I am not so convinced. They discovered a lost butterfly this year thought extinct in the UK. While a lynx is a larger it is reclusive so could be possible. |
