I get the feeling that the person who wrote the sign is some twenty-something, who writes "should of" a lot.

Another point is that someone must have signed the thing off. Did they even read it? Can they even spell properly?
It's enough to make you despair sometimes. Trying to make it into some kind of joke, claiming people will laugh about it but take more notice, is missing the point in a barn door kind of way.
Makes me proud to be foreign English/British/citizen of Europe/mongrel*.

I was reading an article on the cage fighting five year olds and the spelling was appalling. Worse still, it was on the news beat website. EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/15014905 (no apostrophe). - instead of them. - capital P? I know SPAG isn't my strong point but even I shuddered at the errors on the site.

I'm no expert  , but it's a complete piss take when it frequently happens on BBC sites, and loads of printed books I've read in recent years have been the same
