There is so much junk up there, we actually look like we have a ring system like Saturn now, just not as pretty.

Well it will be one satellite clearer soon. Maybe we can have a game of satellite bingo? Like Cow [LIFTED] bingo but with satellite parts.

The most recent update from NASA.com Nice, so North America (who frakin own it) is probably in the clear. Edit: Apparently when the UARS was designed there wasn't the same human casualty risk assessment as there is today. They now try to limit it to a 1 in 10,000 chance. The current risk assessment puts the UARS human casualty risk as 1 in 3200. I bet on horses with bigger odds than that. Edit, edit: Currenty tracked orbit. Most likely scenario is that it will hit the Atlantic but the orbit is obviously evolving. From CalSky clickyEdit: Unofficial NASA reentry twitter clicky

Theres' speculation of some of it now hitting the US and the African Space Surveillance Ops Centre has issued warnings to people in Africa not to touch any debris.
Anybody see anything when it passed over London? Doubtful I guess.

I installed that earlier. Unfortunately, I think a zillion other people did too because it says the server is off-line

And deprive people of the chance of acquiring super powers of the radioactive remains?

It's supposed to be down, no NORAD data anymore. Suggestions of it in Alberta, Canada region, unconfirmed reports of debris trail in the sky NW of Lethbridge.

From NASA.gov Pants, doesn't look like anyone has seen anything. Anti-frickin-climax.

NASA.gov: So, the only for certain at the moment is that it penetrated the atmosphere of the 3rd planet from the sun in our solar system.

As soon as we see bits as listed for sale on eBay then we will have a better idea of where it landed.
