Gaddafi captured and wounded: NTC official
TRIPOLI | Thu Oct 20, 2011 12:38pm BST

(Reuters) - Deposed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has been captured and wounded in both legs, National Transitional Council official Abdel Majid said on Thursday.

"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs ... He's been taken away by ambulance," the senior NTC military official told Reuters by telephone.

Was he wounded and captured, or was he captured then wounded? :P

They (The BBC) can't seem to make up their mind whether he's dead or not.

Seems a bit chaotic.

Reports saying he was found hiding in a hole - rather like Sadam Hussein was - and then shot multiple times trying to run away.

Reports now suggest he has died from his wounds.

Assuming that didn't kill him, I'm predicting that a rather severe neck wound will do soon.

I wonder if, when the gun shot went off, did someone shout "Gaddafi, Duck"?

I bet there are a lot of people relieved that Gaddafi has been shot and will never come to trial. All those dodgy dealings over the past 40 years that Gaddafi takes to the grave. Cameron looked sweaty on the news just now, and where's middle-east 'peace envoy' Blair?

Hiding in the adjacent sewer pipe?

All hailing from Ulster, a few people in my office laughed at the initial reports cos it sounded like he'd got a punishment shooting to the legs

Blair was talking about the Basque separatists ETA on the TV last night. Apparently he’s likely to be brokering a peace deal similar to the one in Northern Ireland with them.

I can’t imagine for one minute that he would have been too happy about his time in a tent coming under scrutiny n a court of law.

??? Not hard when they've already announced they won't be bombing or killing anymore.
Blair really is an egotistical maniac.
