Trees do use oxygen when there is no sunlight, but one assumes the students weren't still standing there after dark? I'd love to know what the "medicinal oil tree" was. Seems more likely to be a kind of solvent induced stupor, but then I am not a doctor and I never examined the students... |

Eucalyptus? They can give off gases, and I heard tell once of koala bears exploding because of the large amount of eucalyptus gas they have inside them. I don’t know how true that is, BTW. |
