What? Was the PS3 version advertised as coming with BF 1943 in the packaging and it wasn't there?

It was announced officially as being part of the package and would have been considered as such when people pre-ordered the game. They didn't announce it wasn't in there until the pre-orders had been dispatched and it was too late for a lot of people to cancel. So strictly no, but effectively yes for a lot of people.
