Scientists are questioning if using wi-fi on a laptop to roam the internet could harm a man's fertility, after lab work suggested ejaculated sperm were significantly damaged after only four hours of exposure.

The benchside tests showed sperm were less able to swim and had changes in the genetic code that they carry.

Experts stress this does not mean the same would occur in a real-life setting and say men should not worry unduly.

Isn't sperm built up in a man's body over two weeks?
Surely not having a laptop sat on your crotch for two weeks before sex should cure the problem?

I can confirm wi-fi laptops will damage sperm if you swing them hard enough.

Ooof.

I can also confirm that if said laptop contains a copy of 'World of Warcraft', infertility is never likely to come up as an issue.

I would have thought it was the other way around, depending on what websites you were looking at.

Maybe that's the problem? Rate of supply cannot meet demand and hence shoddily-made sperm?
