For once, the description of Anon had some some sense of reality to it. The article says "The loose-knit hacking movement" and "loose" is the key point.
The people that did this were a small percentage of Anon. By small, I mean fewer than 0.1% of active "members". Because there is no membership. There is no leadership. There is no group. Everyone in the world is a part of "the movement", unless they aren't.
Yes a few people will probably hang for this, but it won't change anything. There's over a billion other people, of which a million might take their place.
