UK music downloads up, but album sales down

The average CD album's £5-6 online within two months now, far as I can see, and many release at £7-8 but they're still not selling. I suspect it's cos the music's over-hyped sh1te and people are out of the buying habit...

Luxaries like CD's etc are the first thing people cut back on when times are hard. I'm not surprised sales have dropped over the last few years.
