Don't worry sir, the show was a bit 'crap' all round unfortunately. |

Err... Top. Gear. It's not as if every other episode of the show is an oasis of cultural refinement is it? This is the show that called truck drivers rapists, insults the Germans at every possible opportunity, frequently described Americans as all being morbidly obese and has previously got into trouble for describing the Mexicans as a bunch of workshy layabouts. And, at least, insults various sorts of British people as often as it does those born outwith the United Kingdom. if you let Top Gear in your house, they're going to tell you your wallpaper is awful and probably tread on your cat's tail. They are, to put it bluntly, oafs. And have been for years. Taking umbrage at this point isn't frankly going to get anywhere. Jon |

How long will it be before people just realise the Top Gear is basically Viz TV but without the fat Slags? Once you realise that you are effectively watching a politically incorrect version of The Three Stooges, you become immune to Top Gear’s idiocy. |

Some people just need to get a sence of humour - it does seem these days that people take offence to everything |

Thing is, by complaining, they're falling straight into the trap of attracting even more media attention. It's like the last Clarkson comment - media furore for a couple of days, then something else crops up and it all goes quite. |

That's true, but at some point it'll all be used as historical evidence against the BBC itself when a joke does go too far, and the Beeb might not be in a position to defend it. |
