And I thought the current controller was a mess!

That mock-up is obviously a load of bollocks but I wouldn't mind seeing a small touchscreen integrated into a controller. It could be useful e.g. displaying a map of the FPS level you're playing or used to control the various car settings on an F1 sim.

My primary concern would be the ergonomics of any controller one turned up on, there's no need for anything to be Wii-U bad, but it's still a bit of a tough sell to people who play games for hours at a time.

I personally couldn't see it being much use overall, taking in extra cost, ergonomics, gimmicky unnecessary controls etc...
