I think it would tend to startle me. That's not a good thing even when I'm just driving a Playstation...

The Ford Sync system, in its basic package level is audio only, no display.

To be honest, even when I had a navsystem, I rarely looked at the screen whilst driving, I just listened to the directions. I can see it being useful for deaf drivers though.

So with 2 points of contact it will just feel like the signal is switching from your left hand to your right hand alternately.

Turn left when the wheel vibrates anti-clockwise.
Turn right when the wheel vibrates clockwise.
Stop when the wheel vigorously vibrates all over at the same time... you've hit something.
