It's the way of these things
1) Get morally outraged about a small scale problem
2) Rant about it pubically, therefore bringing people's attention to it
3) Making it more popular as some of those people will use it/do it.
I believe Samsung said they couldn't get better advertising than Apple trying to ban their Galaxy Tablet.
