About [LIFTED] time!

I will be pressing my AM to bring this in in Wales too. Cardiff council allow you to spread your payments over 12 months but only if you pay by Direct Debit.

Don't overly care really - I quite like having 2 months of the year "free" with a bit of extra cash in the budget

Its a bit like at work - I get a Season Ticket loan that I pay off over 10 months so for two months of the year I get a "Pay rise". This year I am putting it towards a new PC

I pay around £115 a month for ten months. I'll bet you anything you want I'll still be paying over £100 a month if they spread it over 12 months.

This will just be another way for them to nick a bit more money.

I never did understand the ten month cycle. Both from a tax payer point of view and from a council point of view.
Surely a steady flow of income is always better?

Also, second homes should pay MORE tax IMO, not less.

I was rather buggered by moving house this year, I didn't get my two months off.

Especially so in National Parks and similar areas.

Oh Lordy - we're agreeing again
