After dangling from a wire yesterday, Chris Mason looks at how the hell Boris gets away with it time and time again.

Boris is the true clown prince of the Conservative Party.

I'm sure the Tory elites see him as the kind of likeable chump that most Brits seem to have a soft spot for, which will lead them to victory on a wave of good humour and the well-turned phrase. Of course, anyone can see that the mop-haired buffoonery is just a mask fronting a scheming and very intelligent politician.

If BoJo the Clown ever makes it to Downing Street, outside of a chimps' tea party in the rose garden, I'll have to resign my commission as an Englander.

^ This.

Saying that, though, I could watch that video of Boris dangling on the zip wire all day. Comedy gold!

Total comedy gold. It was also amazing how fast the interwebz got their photoshop elite skillz on the case, too.

(Can't find the link now, but they were hilarious.)

I'd rather have a clown as PM as opposed to a miserable sod like Balls.

Not so daft as he makes out. After all, he grew up with the "type" so knows how to put on the act.
