After dangling from a wire yesterday, Chris Mason looks at how the hell Boris gets away with it time and time again. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-19085875 |

Boris is the true clown prince of the Conservative Party. I'm sure the Tory elites see him as the kind of likeable chump that most Brits seem to have a soft spot for, which will lead them to victory on a wave of good humour and the well-turned phrase. Of course, anyone can see that the mop-haired buffoonery is just a mask fronting a scheming and very intelligent politician. If BoJo the Clown ever makes it to Downing Street, outside of a chimps' tea party in the rose garden, I'll have to resign my commission as an Englander. |

Total comedy gold. It was also amazing how fast the interwebz got their photoshop elite skillz on the case, too. (Can't find the link now, but they were hilarious.) |

I'd rather have a clown as PM as opposed to a miserable sod like Balls. |

Not so daft as he makes out. After all, he grew up with the "type" so knows how to put on the act. |
