I've not encountered users with a decline in IQ. Generally speaking, the patients I have encountered who are users tend to be at the lower end of socioeconomic spectrum and tend to be stupid anyway. I've no idea whether smoking cannabis has made them more stupid. I wonder what happens at the other end of the socioeconomic spectrum. Does a healthy lifestyle counterbalance the impact from the cannabis?

I smoked loads when I was at uni. They don't call it dope for nothing! Mainly, I think it damaged my memory. I'm also one of those with a predisposition for psychosis. I don't touch it these days... Much.

Rich people don't do weed, they do coke.

I did it for years and didn't suffer as a result but I think it really depends on the individual. I would rather have had a smoke to unwind when I got in rather than a drink and there was even a phase when I was smoking with a mate at work. I didn't start until I was 18 and I don't agree with anyone doing it in their early teens but it seems these days they do everything younger.

Now I'm in my 40s I think it has more of an affect on me but that might be because I very rarely smoke it anymore so I don't have the tolerance I used to. I'd be happy to take part in a study lol :D

I 100% agree with that. I caught a bunch of lads smoking it outside the newsagent the other day (smelt lovely lol) and they didn't seem the well to do types. I think even if they are clever they may dumb down to fit in with their peers. Who knows?
