Got nothing against the colour pink, but Apple only made black and white ones, so yeah, fake. Mark |

It'd be impossible to have a phone reshelled after dropping it after all... I like it, and I think my contract only has a couple of months left before the upgrade is due, which will give the early adopters time to iron out the bad bits of the first run. |

Yeah. Or then again, No. The iPhone 5 may end up looking like that, or it may end up looking nothing like that. Pointless rumour is pointless. |

'course that doesn't mean they couldn't do it for themselves, may just be they can't be arsed to do it for customers. However..
Agreed. |

http://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Pink-Conversion-Kit-Quality/dp/B005QCJQQ6 I'm still not sold on this being a fake. Looks plausible to me, but as ever, Wait And See. |

I would put money on that being the new shape of the iPhone. There are too many leaks about it for it not to be. Plus, it sort of makes sense. According to this mock-up: The body/chassis of the phone is a single piece of aluminium. Just like all the current MacBook models. The screen is a 4" screen which makes sense as it increases the size of the screen but also brings the screen to a widescreen aspect ratio. Unless there are major redesigns to the OS then the home screen will remain... The only way to change the width of the screen and keep the home screen would be to make it 5 icons wide (they wouldn't shrink the icons). Five icons wide would make it far too wide. You would struggle to reach buttons on the opposite side of the screen from your thumb. By having the unibody it removes the necessity for the glass back cover which would automatically remove a mm or so off the thickness which is what Apple is all about. etc... The one thing I would NOT put money on is the name "iPhone 5". In fact I'd go as far to bet against it being called that. ![]() |

It will be called "The New iPhone" and no doubt all the flock will rush out and buy it. |

So it's likely to be a fake, but is probably the right shape due to leaks from suppliers.... It that what we're saying? |

As a proud HTC owner, I can't only partly agree with that. Yes IMO Android is better than iOS, and HTC Sense is better than most Android builds. However the hardware spec (and admittedly the price) is lower for HTC phones. You have to make do with either a lower res screen, a larger screen to get a good resolution and lower internal storage than iPhones. SD cards suck as you have to install apps to the phone then move them to the SD card (if they can be moved). That's why I haven't upgraded my phone this year. HTC just aren't offering the hardware I want. |
