tbh I get the updates from twitter clients on my phone so this doesn't excite me too much

If they brought out a decent client for free then I'd be happy, there are some good ones but not one that does everything very well...

I use an app on my iPHone for Twitter, so this does not really interest me. However, I know some people with phones which would benefit form this service.

Not all Twits are on Twitter. Twit did lead me onto using Twitter, but not all Twits are Tweeters. ;)

BTW Leo has trademarked Twit, you can't use it in relation to Twitter, interestingly, Twitter haven't trademarked Tweet or Twitter!
