He's alleged to have had multiple affairs and this one could have been the catalyst for a much bigger story I guess :|

Not just that but the whole arrangement. If this woman had financial problems then she would be much more susceptible to a financial offer that compromises the nation. Maybe they need to ensure that those that host are not financial vulnerable?
