Yeah, we've given less over the last 18-24 months. Although, on several occasions during that time, we've been coppering up to see out the last few days until pay day. The article isn't really a surprise though, is it? Most people are skint, and you can't give away what you don't have. |

I have been sticking to the standing orders which I have been paying for years. Though like most I have been economising. So much for the governments hope that the charity sector will step in when they pull out. |

There's nothing 'close to my heart' and I'm rarely in town and do my shopping online, so... If someone asks in work or whatever I throw a few quid in. |

I've definitely trimmed down what I give to reflect the strains on the household budget, the intention is to increase the amount I give again when (if?) the situation improves. |

We defiantly give less but then SWMBO does now work for the main charity we support and she took a 30% pay cut to do that |

I actually consider the charity contributions I make as part of my 'fixed expenditure'. So they haven't really changed at all. I am in the lucky situation that I'm under no real pressure to economise though. |
