It's idiotic. It's like kids in a playground bickering over the Top Trumps deck.

It may be idiotic, but there are billions of pounds at stake in this particular game.

Yes but Blackberry are only a matter of months from total collapse and Nokia bonds are already rated as junk by the markets, so are not far behind them.

If Nokia did Android phones, I might buy one. I could care less about Windows Phones though.

From what I have seen of the Windows phones I actually like the look of them. They are significantly different from the android phones out there. Though it would need to work with my iMacs.

IIRC there is an official Mac OS sync app. Windows 8 phones are very nice but I find the interface a bit 'busy'. Nokia aren't going to make an Android phone as long as there's an ex MS exec at the helm though.

The sync app is good but I fear that it might be too late to persuade mac users to use a Windows phone. I now have an iPhone and love it. The windows phone might be "busy" but it has all the information that someone wants on the home page, plus it is more customisable than the iPhone.

I've heard good things from many sources about the new Windows phones. I don't expect an over night flood, but I reckon they'll trickle into the market and before you know it you'll see them everywhere.

I've not heard anything bad about them. Not that I know anyone who has one.

The reviews have been good so far. I think that they might be late to market but they at least have the money to succeed eventually. Plus they do not have any patent disputes with Apple to hold them back. They are significantly different so will offer a choice to those who have yet to jump on the smart phone bandwagon.
