This has caused the artist concerned to denounce the actions as it was her track that was used raid the home. All over a single track of music. It has also tarnished the reputation of Disney who were caught up when their disney patterned laptop was seized. In fact they had also bought the CD as well before the raid, but that did not matter to the Anti Piracy group.

If they've bough it on CD then I see no moral problem with them getting a digital copy too. They've paid the artist and the music company their cut. No one should expect you to pay twice for something IMO.
It's just greed.
I've got to wonder though, why didn't she just rip the CD?

I'd not heard of Chisu until this. Me and a million other people going by the comments on her official Youtube channel. She's pretty good. Not the typical euro-pop you might expect a 9 year old to be into.

The one thing I've noticed is that many of her videos heavily feature bagels.
Are bagels big in Finland?

She wanted it but could not get it that day so downloaded it. She and her father bought it the following weekend. I do agree that it does not matter if the person downloaded first if they bought a legal copy. It all smacks of format shifting and should be legal.
