Wouldn't surprise me if in the next few years, kids can only see Santa from behind a glass/plastic cubicle with drilled holes to allow speech through.

Frankly, we all knew Father Christmas was a bit of a dodgy character anyway. I wouldn't leave the drunken old fraud alone with my kids, if I had any.

I'm always wary of these sources*, I mean who talks like that? Is the Mirror's source a Daily Mail reader?

* Private Eye always has something like, '"It is political correctness gone mad,” my imagination told the editor.'
