A lot of retail PC games these days come packaged with a Steam key in the box, allowing you to download the game without the disc present, which means that even if the physical medium is damaged by say, scratches or incineration, the game is still playable. This program is easily abusable.

The games mind, not the kids. But by the sounds of things, that isn't too far away.

I have to agree, hundreds of millions play violent games and these are only a problem in the US. In Japan where the games and books are even more violent and tens of millions play, they have an almost non existent problem with guns.
