I suspect that the employees will be sued for damages. You can never tell with US law how this will end.

It would be interesting to know the dates involved, and whether there was any truth to the rumour that the true GTX 680 was pulled (and reserved for 700 series release) and nVidia rejigged and renamed the remaining 600 series line-up, because they knew it was sufficiently competitive with the HD 79xx cards.
