Didn't MS give the NSA and the like a back door into Windows? I only ask cos I definitely remember legal arguments about Skype not being state friendly :twisted: :twisted:

I guess it makes sense to consolidate their voice services, but I still don't like Skype!

+1 and would be a reason not to go for the Xbox. Looks like it's back to PC gaming, which I was last into (online) with CS1.6 I think.

It's a service they provide

Given the amount of racist/homophobic abuse people get from a minority on XBL having some form of monitoring wouldn't be a bad thing at all

Far as I can tell, the sort of thing you need subscriptions for, or spending more on 'micro-transactions' than they ever thought they would...
