A kick-start project for a $99 "super computer" quite similar to the Pi, but with a powerful multi-core numeric processor: https://www.linux.com/news/enterprise/s ... ercomputer The Pi may enable lots of people to learn computing, but this is about learning parallel computing. The entire planet has a shortage of parallel computing skills; you just need to look at your task manager to see that! I have no idea what I would do with one ![]() |

The ARM chip is only there to organise stuff though. The power comes from the 64 core Epiphany chip. You'd need a version of RISK that was designed to use it, or you may as well use a Pi. |
