Elsewhere I have read reasons why this is not likely. The rumour mill is wonderful to watch, but the only thing that is worth watching in the end are the keynotes where they announce the new products. When I have watched them I can see why some things are not essential. Like the way Passbook negates the need for NFC in the iPhone. So in the end the rumours are like dogs chasing their tails.
