Kid's gotta learn some time. I wonder if it was an automatic, since she was apparently driving with one foot.
The road looked quite deserted and only wide enough for one vehicle, almost like a toboggan run. Things might have been interesting if something had come the other way. Maybe it was a private road, although it doesn't seem likely?

The road was wide enough for 2 vehicles.
I learnt to drive on my fathers lap at the age of 4, but that was on private roads. I got to drive his Datsun 280C alone when I was 12, but that was at an airport, we unloading an aircraft engine and I got to drive the car and trailer away after they had hoisted the engine into the air.
I see nothing wrong with her driving the car. I see everything wrong with her driving the car on a public road.
