Looking at the food that was displayed I doubt I will be trying soon. ![]() |

I've eaten there once and it's okay-ish. It really caters for families with young kids - they get balloons, crayons and placemats to colour. It's not a place I'd go to eat/snack if I were solely with adults. |

Our Tesco has a pretty decent cafeteria inside already. I wonder if they're going to close those, or re-brand them. They're mostly frequented by old people, but we used to do breakfast meatings (sic) there sometimes and letch at the milfs. |

The local Asda had a great cafeteria which was cheap and edible, but they closed that some time ago. Though I suspect that if people sat and had breakfast or lunch the car park would be filled and they might prefer a faster through put. Though there have been good cafeteria within Sainsbury's but I have not been in one for yonks to know if they are still there. |

Never heard of Giraffe restaurants before - are they mainly in the south? |

I once had a lovely lunch with my mother at one of these. The food was great for the price. Does feel a bit weird having lunch in a supermarket though. Mainly because it was the first and only time.
The one I went to was in the East of England. |

I do think that there are separate markets for cheap eateries. Supermarkets could do a better deal for shoppers to get them to come in to the stores. Though the recent food scandals will hurt them for a while. I suspect that it is only a matter of time before we find out how airport food is not what it says it is. Some of the burger chains will also have had problems that affected their airport operations. |
