Unfortunately, they still haven't found any buyers inside Blockbuster stores...

Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week.

Good news though. I wonder if many of the former staff have found jobs since?

And I binned my blockbuster card only last week as I though there was no point in keeping it if they were bankrupt.
The fact I haven't used it in years didn't seem to enter the calculation.

That's because it's a DVD/games rental service. (8+p

Actually they used to sell off old stock and I think they had a 2nd hand market.
I agree Lovefilm etc will kill the model of physical rental. Some people may still want it, but not enough to sustain the high costs of that type of business model.
I'm amazed Blockbuster didn't try an det into online rental/distribution earlier to prevent this from happening.

Both Blockbuster online and their marketplace are pretty good, it's just I suspect next to nobody knows about them.

A lot of people currently can't watch a YouTube vid without it buffering, never mind caps...

This is the reason I don't do a lot of streaming.
There's still stuff on 4OD that I want to see but because of my monthly cap I can't.
I might enquire about going totally unlimited, but if it means signing a new contract (as opposed to just altering the one I'm on) then they can get stuffed.

Err. You're right. I didn't.
I've never seen an advert for that at all.
