I was always taught that you put fences up with the attractive side facing the the neighbour. Surely it's just common decency? I've noticed that it doesn't often seem to be the case though. Common decency is even less common than common sense. He also says they've crossed the boundary with it, in which case he has to protest or risk permanently losing land. After a certain number of years, if you don't protest then the land legally belongs to them. |

The neighbours have to put up with some pretty crude hand lettering and dreadful kerning and tracking. I’d say that more than balances out the ugliness of the fence. |
