I do not think that he is that bad, though with the current problems with racism in football you cannot simply hide it and it will go away. Though I think that the PFA have had Jim Davidson performing in the past which is no better.

I do not think that it is racist to use that term if you use it to describe everyone. I use the term ethnic to describe everyone who is not me, black, white, brown, green, chav, posh, English, Scottish, French, German, you are all ethnics to me.
