Quite so. Also, if they define what is not allowed, by implication everything else is allowed. And our politicians are loath to ever allow the rest of us more rights or protections from their opinion. It goes against their fundamental nature.

That is what Prism is for! Once they know who has child porn they can raid everyone with any connection to the paedophile. /s

Isn't that why the big Internet companies set up the IWF in the UK? :? The politicians seem to always be asking for things they already have.

It is more like sound bites to be seen to be on top of the problem. Not that they could do much more to combat child porn without totally going over the top in terms of eliminating what remaining rights we have.
