Since Lloyds till has a listing they could simply sell the shares as and when necessary. I few thousand here and there and they will not effect the price. If they sell in a big chunk they will have to get much less than they could get. Selling smaller tranches and repricing according to market price will mean that they get more. Though I suspect that they will push this through to get money for an election tax giveaway. |

I still don't get why given we bought the shares just as it made a humungous loss, we're selling them as soon as it starts making a profit. At least wait until we get our investment back, surely? 'Nationalised losses, privatised profits'? |

It is not as if Labour would keep them state owned. They would try as sell when possible. |
