At a point where it's a nightmare to see a GP, GPs themselves are overworked with hospitals' work, QOF, CQC crap and possibility of facing OOH, the Govt's decided to cut the funding for GPs which in turn could reduce the number of GPs by 2400.

Driving doctors out into private practice does not count as privatisation.

Remember that technically GPs are private and are contracted by the DoH to provide a specific service as determined by the contract.

I appreciate that but this is a way of pushing more doctors out into private practice with no NHS provision. It will mean cheaper private doctors for those that can afford it, but even greater problems for the plebs.
