I love the banality of this story. Not the attacking the girlfriend part, but because:
a) It’s 50 Cent
and
b) He was going to a branch of Argos
c) In Birmingham.
also
d) A shopping channel appearance

I expect that if he hadn’t had his collar felt, these appearances would have been fairly low key in the media.

The moral of the story folks: Don’t go whoopin up tha ladies, or you’ll miss up on a trip ta Argos up in Birmingham. Innit.

Brilliantly, I recall him being interviewed by Wossy with Jonathan saying 'You didn't get that jewellry off the shopping channel, did you?' 50 pence sterling looked horrified...

Lol @ it being argos. I know which one it is and it used to be lined by a mini-outdoor clothes market (?grey imports) and a special "smoking" shop that has smoking paraphenalia. Still a rubbish place and I thought the bullring area would have been better eg selfridges.

I remember the Bullring area pre shopping centre revamp. It was [LIFTED] dive of a market and some grisly shops. I’ve not been to Birmingham for about 20 years (thankfully).

I remember that interview. I think it was the one where he told Wossy he had been shot in the face.

Mind you, in our money at today’s exchange rate, he’s about 33p. :lol:

The entire place has been revamped - there is no "bullring" - just the selfridges building. Not been to the outdoor/indoor markets though.
