Interestingly we were discussing why the price cuts on the kindles a few weeks ago IIRC. So clearly they are clearing stock for the new version. The new HD Kindle Fire seems much better suited to movie streaming now with its higher resolution screen. I do agree it is the new e-readers that are of more interest to me.
