You have to wonder at the taser not putting him down, but the bean-bag gun killing him!

There is so much we do not know. He may have been very confused and so very defensive. Also if the old man had a pacemaker the taser would have killed him. The fact that the police decided a taser was appropriate for an 95 year old is also very disturbing. Then to use bean bags.

My grandad's a very spirited 94 and if he was swinging a knife I wouldn't blame any cop that used a taser on him :lol:

Yes but why not negotiate with him. I am wondering why the man was being sent to the hospital in the first place. Don't forget that this is how we will be treated one day.

By the sounds of it he was well past negotiation. And I hope I've no reason to start taking people on with kitchen knives :lol:

I accept that, but there are alternatives to simply tasering an old man. I have taken on someone with a knife and no need for a taser. I did it with a wooden spoon. 8-)
